One chain, examined link by link.
SKU: MM-FIG-18-14Y | Metal: 14k Solid Yellow Gold | Origin: Arezzo, Italy (documented)
Demonstration content — Results apply to the tested sample only.
This chain arrived through Vetta Chain House's wholesale program, tagged as manufactured in Arezzo, Italy. Packing documentation matched the catalog listing. We purchased the sample independently for testing.

The figaro pattern alternates one elongated oval with two to three smaller links. Measured width: 1.82mm against a listed 1.8mm—a negligible variance within manufacturing tolerance. Link density is high; the chain feels substantial for its gauge.
XRF testing (demonstration data) confirmed 58.4% gold purity—14.01k, exceeding minimum requirements. The alloy uses copper and silver to achieve a warm heritage yellow rather than a brassy commercial cast tone.
Results apply to the tested sample only.
Under 10x magnification, solder seams on figaro links are nearly imperceptible. The jump ring securing the clasp is fully soldered shut. No visible porosity observed in joints along the tested length.

The chain drapes fluidly without kinking. At 1.8mm it reads as deliberate rather than timid—a profile that photographs well and wears comfortably against skin and fabric.
Over a 30-day continuous wear trial, the chain exhibited excellent articulation. It did not catch on fine textiles. Microscopic surface marks appeared by day 30—normal for daily-worn gold—but no link deformation.
At wholesale pricing through Vetta, this chain represents strong value for permanent-jewelry studios. The metallurgical integrity and fabrication tolerances justify its position as a foundational SKU.
The Italia Figaro 1.8 earns a confident recommendation for studios prioritizing verified alloy content and clean fabrication. Origin documentation is solid at the manufacturing level; mine tracing remains undisclosed.
